Had a fantastic weekend in Edmonton.
First, went to the Edmonton Oilers Alumni vs Edmonton Fire Fighters charity game on Saturday in St.Albert. Got to skate and mingle with the players before the game and got the following autographs:
Chris Joseph - 5 cards
Dave Lumley - 3 cards
Jason Strudwick - one card & 2 8x10's
Ron Low - 3 cards (plus some for Kris)
Joaquin Gage - 5 cards (plus some for Kris)
Sean Brown - 2 cards
Jason Holland - 3 cards
Kyle Rossiter - 3 cards
Al Hamilton - one card
Fernando Pisani - 5 cards
Brian Benning - 5 cards (plus items for Luis)
Nathan Dempsey - 3 cards (plus items for Luis)
Doug Hicks - 4 cards
Norm Lacombe - 4 cards
Dan Kordic - 3 cards
Also had Hamilton, Joseph, Pisani, Strudwick, Gage, Rossiter, Lacombe, Brown, Holland, Benning, Dempsey, and Terran Sandwith sign my program.
The only no-show was Rob Brown - his place was taken by figure skater David Pelletier (who was probably the best player on the ice).
Then on Sunday I went to the Edmonton Oil Kings vs Victoria Royals game.
Before the game I ran into Guy Lapointe who signed 3 cards for me. While he was signing them he said "Don't tell anybody, I don't want to get mobbed" then he smiled.
After the game the Oil Kings had a full team autograph session where they all gave out their signed team issued hockey cards. I also got the following signed:
Keegan Lowe - 4x6
David Musil - 4x6
Griffin Reinhart - magazine cover, 4x6, 4 cards (one each for Kyle and Mark)
Henrik Samuelsson - 2 cards (one for Mark)
Luke Bertolucci - 4x6
Michael St.Croix - 3 cards (one for Mark)
Curtis Lazar - 4x6, 2 cards (one for Mark)
Mitchell Moroz - 4x6, 2 cards (one for Mark)
Laurent Brossoit - 4x6, 2 cards (one for Mark)
Many thanks to Alex who helped me out with some autos and exchanged some items with me.

The IP success continues in Red Deer as the Rebels took on the Regina Pats. Tonight was the most scouts I've ever seen at a Rebels game, and the most former NHLer's as well:
Gord Donnelly - 3 cards (he said "this rarely happens to me" so I said "well then it's a treat for both of us".)
Thomas Gradin - 3 cards (gave me some insight into the Luongo/Schneider relationship)
Mike Palmateer - one card (I had three but he said he would only sign one)
Mark Greig - 3 cards
Jeff Finley - one card (had a nice chat with Greig and Finley about my collecting and their scouting)
Chandler Stephenson - 6 cards (3 for Mark)
Marc McCoy - one card
Pat Conacher - 5 cards (said that the Fleer Tallboy is his favorite)
Matt Hewitt - one card
Brandon Underwood - 8x10
Also in attendance were Ron Delorme and Guy Lapointe, among others, but I didn't have any cards for them (I already got them earlier).

Glad to help out where I can.
Got another one in today that didn't have enough postage on it for the new US rate increase, but it came back anyway.

Really Red Sullivan??
I sent to Mr. Sullivan as you did and just got it back today,a 14 day return.
Sometimes I get a bit skeptical as to is it really him.
I will go on E-Bay and other sites listing autographs and do some comparing.
I look for as many major similarities as I can find from a bunch of different sources.
First I see he seems to sign "Red" not George on all of them... Mine is George.
The last name on all examples is pretty much written in full, mine pretty much is.
Hard to tell, he used a black marker that was nearly faded out.
Do you think we got an authentic from the man?
What I'm getting at here Bruin and others is sometimes we get our items back with a note like "sorry not me" or something.
Ever wonder if some people just go and say I'll screw with this guy and they just sign the item and send it back...
Hope you got some good news for me Bruin.

That's why I prefer in person autographs. That's the only way to know for sure that it's the real person signing the cards. And since I'm not interested in selling my autos, I'm not worried about having to prove it to anybody else.
Her's a link to the site that I show all my stuff - you can look at the Sullivan and see if you think it's real or not.

IP at Red Deer Rebels vs Prince Albert Raiders game tonight:
Tom Fitzgerald - 3 cards (he remembered me from last time, and still signed)
Kelly Kisio - 4 cards
Dave Manson - 5 cards (3 Oilers cards for Alex) - yes he did sign a Leafs card
Mike Winther - 2 cards (one for Mark)
Jayden Hart - 2 cards (one for Mark)
Mark McNeill - 2 cards (one for Mark)
Luke Siemens - one card
The Rebels honored the Red Deer Rustlers junior A team that won the Centennial Cup back in 1980. There were several former Rustlers in attendance including Brian Sutter and Randy Moller (so I heard, but didn't see). Kisio is a former Rustler, that's why he was there. Many other former NHLer's who played for the Rustlers didn't make it, or at least I didn't see anywhere.

Looked at your George Sullivan autos.
He's a real smudger huh.
The big question here.
Did you get that one he signed as "Red Sullivan at the same time and address as the George signitures?
If yes I know it's him.
