Never got one like this.
Got an interesting one today.
Been doing this hobby many years as I'm sure most of you have.
Tell me if you ever got one exactly like this.
A player (former) sends you back your card, a custom made card in my case and along the edge in small print he writes "Not for Resale" and his initials.
Is that something or what?
Now I know alot of us are not sellers but are stricktly collectors, me for sure.
None of my collection is for sale, never will be.
Weigh in here folks what you got and what do you think??

Never got one like that but I've been seeing more and more custom cards on eBay. My customs have blank backs and in the past I'd considered having "Not for sale - "My name's" collection only" printed on them or something like that.

You know, that's not a bad idea, pretty good one actually.
Think I'll ponder doing that...
After all if it is your collection and there is no intent to sell then it is a good point.

i mean if its for ones own collection I dont see anything wrong with it.Also i mean ones using a players image without the players permission to some extent. So I guess in the players case they will sign but their said image is not for sale .

Good points there.
I most times used a team logo with my cards not the players image.
If any want to sign thatway that is ok to me.
As you said it is going in a personal collection.

I've had it happen once. I think it was Ron Serafini. Wrote on the back - not for resale

That's who I'm talking about.
That is who did it on my card.
Maybe he's the only one that does it.
