The All American Hockey League was a class-A professional minor hockey league that played from 2008 to 2011. Its seasons were known for constant upheaval and turnover, with teams leaving and entering mid-season.

The league began in 2008-09 as the All American Hockey Association, with four teams - the Chi-town Shooters, Battle Creek Revolution, Evansville IceMen, and Detroit Dragons. Midway through the season, the Detroit Dragons folded. Since this would have left the league with only three teams, the Chicago Blaze were entered into the league to finish off the season, assuming the road schedule of the Dragons.

The league renamed itself to the All American Hockey League for their second season in 2009-10. The four teams remaining from 2008-09 were joined by two new teams - the Madison Ice Muskies and the Detroit Hitmen.
