Oshawa Truckmen Statistics and History

The Oshawa Truckmen were a Senior B hockey team originally based in Oshawa, ONT playing in the OHA's Eastern Ontario Senior Hockey League until 1955. The Oshawa Arena burned down in September 1953, leaving the Truckmen without a rink. The team quickly relocated to Bowmanville for 1953-54, and continued to operate as the Oshawa Truckmen. After playing a single playoff game in Bowmanville, where advance sales were reported at just $77, the team played the remainder of its playoff games in Kingston.

The team relocated to Whitby for 1954-55, still operating as the Oshawa Truckmen. In 1955-56, they renamed themselves the Whitby Dunlops.
